I recently read an NPR poll/study related to the COVID-19 virus conducted with over 1000 respondents nationwide (linked below).
The study found that the majority of Americans are quite concerned about the national crisis and in support of strong action against the pandemic. According to the article:
- 46% of Americans believe the pandemic is a top concern for the upcoming presidential election
- 76% of respondents they support state laws to require face masks
- 59% of those polled also said they are in support of a mandatory shelter-at-home for two weeks
Personally, I would like to see additional measures taken to help resolve the spread of the virus, and would be in full support of a mandated mask order in my state.
What about you? Do you think the measures that have been taken are helping stop the spread of COVID-19? Are you in support of a mandate to require face masks to be worn in public places?
