On the surface, the new iPhone 13 doesn’t look too different than the iPhone 12, but there are some key new benefits that make it worth considering for people shopping around. The main difference is that it’s expected to have a battery life that lasts all day. That’s a huge jump from the iPhone 12 mini (which is what I have) and its 8-hour battery life. It also comes with a new cinematic mode, which is like portrait mode for videos. It’ll also be the first iPhone with the ability to store 1 Terabyte.
By Moore’s Law, the number of transistors on a microchip should double every two years, which based on trends at the time. More than 50 years since then, we still are seeing advancements take place at that pace, and even quicker. Will iPhone’s one day be able to fit Petabytes worth of data?? I’m interested to see what advancements in phone technology we’ll see ten years from now. Anybody looking to buy the new iPhone 13?
