360 Feedback in Business

I’ve always been in favor of 360 degree feedback. I believe it will benefit everyone but mostly the organization as a whole.

It might be easy to be a good manager from the top down but are you a good manager from the bottom up? I think it’s important to take a look at both angles.

This is interesting and I haven’t quite heard of this.

I can see why it is helpful for people who are higher up in management regardless of the size of the company but I’d be nervous about applying it to lower level employees. There have been times at larger companies where those who run the company don’t want to be self-reflective and this creates a culture of fear which is very unhealthy for the lifeblood of a company. I’d be curious to see what companies implement 360-degree feedback.
