Should it be that The highest position at a given work place be paid thousands of dollars more than the lowest and hardest position at any given work place?
I believe that there needs to be less of a gap between power distances overall. I do tend to agree with the notion that the person making the biggest decisions (thus has the most to lose) should benefit financially from being in that position, however the wealth disparity from those two positions do tend to be on an ever-increasing slope. I think this is especially true for the big corporate organizations. Those are my two cents!
I believe, the One in the highest position of the Company as in (Plant Manager) should be taken care of financially! Due to the devoted hours and Responsibilities! Keeps the Company and All Employees Successfully Profitable. However, everyone should be rewarded compensated, on a bonus structure,of the Company Profit Quarterly! It will drive Motivation to succeed as One! Every Employee Wins! The Company Wins! Thank you!
I believe depend a position and the risk of job. More pay it because they more responsible of the job.
It depends on work pressure and responsibility. More pay should be needed.
