With over half of the US population has at least one dose of the COVID vaccine, I’m wondering how many work events/conferences/webinars will remain virtual. While some annual summer events have opted to be in-person, I’ve noticed others have chosen to continue offering content and connections from the comfort of your home.
I think a struggle for many during the pandemic has been with advertising virtual events. LinkedIn is obviously a great place to advertise to B2B professionals, but I’m wondering how much success people have had with that and if they’ve run into any issues while running event pages on LinkedIn.
There’s also a new Event Ad feature on LinkedIn that displays date, time, how to join, and comes with analytical tools. I definitely can see this being an optimal way to advertise virtual events, but I’d love to hear what experiences people have had so far.
